Alon N Cohen

Active Chairman and Founder, Cyber-Ark Software

Alon N. Cohen, an author and a serial high-tech entrepreneur, founded Cyber-Ark in 1999 and is the Company's Active Chairman. Alon invented Cyber-Ark's patented Vaulting Technology and self-developed its original version. As CEO from 1999 to 2004, Alon built Cyber-Ark's worldwide sales strategy, led the research and development activities and secured over $20M in financing. Under Alon's leadership Cyber-Ark managed to acquire hundreds of enterprise customers in the US, Europe, and Asia and to gain market leadership.

In 2005, Alon took an additional Company under his wings, FilesX Inc., and as its Chairman and CEO for 3 years he turned the Company into the CDP and Remote-Office Protection space, orchestrated its product and team re-shuffle, raised additional $12M in funding, acquired 100 enterprise customers and paved the way to its successful acquisition by IBM, bringing high return to its shareholders and a successful conclusion to his tenure.

Alon was granted multiple International patents and awards; he served as a senior advisor to leading high-tech firms, national banks and governmental agencies and headed the System and Security Department for the Israeli military, being responsible for running some of the largest enterprises in the country and the Region.

Alon is also the author of "Queen of the Jews", a best-selling political-historical suspense novel, analyzing the future of the middle-east and provoking deep and painful personal and national questions.

Erel N. Margalit

Founder and Managing Partner, JVP

Erel is the founder of JVP (Jerusalem Venture Partners) and co-founder of Jerusalem Pacific Ventures. Launching the firm in 1993, Erel set out to create a new model for global venture investing that would combine a hands-on management approach with the international market creation strategies necessary to build and sustain solid technology companies from Israel, United States, Europe and Asia. In addition to orchestrating the $4.82 billion sale of Chromatis to Lucent Technologies in 2000, Erel has successfully led JVP's thirteen exits with such companies as Netro (NTRO), Precise! (IPO and subsequently acquired by VERITAS), Scorpio (acquired by U.S. Robotics), Fundtech (FNDT), ViryaNet (VRYA), Jacada (JCDA) and Paradigm (PGEO).

Erel plays a direct role in creating and managing the global investment strategy for the firm and actively participates on the boards of several portfolio companies including Cogent, Cyber-Ark, CyOptics, MagniFire, Native Networks, Bridgewave, Sepaton and UP Tech. Erel's expertise lies in Enterprise Networking, Carrier Equipment, Semiconductors/Components and Enterprise Software.

Prior to founding JVP, Erel was the Director of Business Development for the City of Jerusalem under its former Mayor, Teddy Kollek. There he helped bring more than 70 technology firms to the city, including Intel, Digital, IBM and many others that gave rise to the burgeoning technology community that drives the Israeli economy today. Erel holds a Masters in Philosophy from Columbia University and an MBA from Hebrew University.

Elisheva Yakobovich

Partner, Vertex Management Israel

Elisheva joined Vertex in February 2001. She enhances the Vertex Management Israel team with her extensive deal-making experience and broad understanding of foreign and domestic capital and money markets.

Prior to joining Vertex Israel, she worked for 12 years at Bank Ha-Poalim Ltd., Israel's largest bank. During that time she held several key positions, including Head of the Portfolio Management Team, and Director of Research and Private Equity of the largest financial institutional investor in Israel, Gmulot, Bank Ha-Poalim's provident funds management company. Elisheva served as an officer in IDF's Central Computing Center.

She holds an MA in Economics and Business Administration and a BA in economics and mathematics from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Eitan Bauch

CEO, JVP Studio

Eitan is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in the management of technology companies in various stages of development. Most recently he was Vice President of F5's (NASDAQ: FFIV) Security Business Unit. Prior to F5, Eitan was the CEO of MagniFire, a JVP portfolio company in the security space, which was acquired by F5 in June 2004 after a successful strategic redirection initiated and led by Eitan. Previously, Eitan held a variety of senior positions in international technology companies, including as CEO of Tundo, a VOIP company.

Eitan has a proven track record of cross border strategic leadership and an in-depth understanding of the key elements and processes that are critical to the success of young start-up companies.

Eitan holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Haifa.
